Advanced Modular Transport with Intelligent Steering Control
The MTE E-Command Module range is designed for the transport of exceptionally heavy, oversized and complex loads. Combining high-capacity modular construction with MTE’s electronic steering and alignment technology, the E-Command range provides greater control, manoeuvrability and configuration flexibility for demanding heavy-haul applications. Available in various platform configurations, the system can be expanded using additional clip-on axle modules to suit different load requirements.
At the heart of the range is the MTE E-Command Electronic Alignment Control System.
Alignment sensors are fitted to every axle, while sensors at the kingpin monitor the direction of the tractor unit. The system calculates and controls the steering angle of each axle individually, helping the trailer follow the tractor accurately through corners and confined operating areas.

The E-Command system includes an in-cab touchscreen display, giving the operator access to the main trailer functions from inside the tractor unit. The screen provides a live display of individual axle angles and allows the operator to control steering, suspension and gooseneck functions. The in-cab touchscreen also adds Road-Assist steering, automatic levelling, selectable steer-about points and programmable lift heights.

A Danfoss wireless remote with an integrated visual display allows the operator to control the trailer while maintaining a clear view of the load and surrounding area.
Remote functions include:

The low-height MTE hydraulic suspension system allows the platform to be raised or lowered to assist with loading, ground clearance and load levelling. Each axle can also be retracted and isolated using individual lock-out taps, allowing the trailer configuration to be managed for different operating requirements.

The standard E-Command platform can hydraulically widen from approximately 3,000mm to 4,100mm. An extra-width configuration is also available, increasing the platform from approximately 3,350mm closed to 4,880mm open.

Additional E-Command axle rows can be connected to the main platform to increase trailer length and carrying capacity. Available clip-on configurations include: 1 Row of 8 increasing through to 8 Rows of 8.

The standard E-Command Module is equipped with detachable dovetails and heavy-duty hydraulic ramps.

The Spineless E-Command Module can be configured with either a hydraulic compensating gooseneck or an optional drawbar, providing maximum flexibility across different transport operations.

The standard trailer operates from the tractor unit’s hydraulic supply. For independent operation, an optional diesel hydraulic power pack can be mounted on the gooseneck inside a custom enclosure.
