MTE completed this 3 Axle Semi Bottom Dumper for Equipment & Transport Leasing Ltd (ETL Hire), purpose-built for efficient bulk material transport and controlled discharge.
Designed for applications including quarrying, road construction, mining and earthmoving, the Bottom Dumper discharges material through pneumatically operated doors underneath the trailer rather than raising the body like a conventional tipper. This allows material such as aggregate, sand and basecourse to be accurately spread while the combination is moving.
The trailer features a 19m³ high-tensile steel bin, manufactured with 4mm 1100MPa high-tensile steel sides for strength and durability while helping minimise tare weight. The bin is divided into two compartments with four air-operated bottom discharge doors.
