Another custom-built MTE trailer heading across the Tasman, with this 4R8 Linkwing Dropbed destined for Western Australia.

Designed for heavy haulage and oversized loads, this trailer combines a low deck height, hydraulic widening and MTE's hydraulic suspension system to provide versatility across a wide range of transport applications.

With an overall deck length of 14.25 metres, the trailer widens from 2.7 metres to an impressive 4.6 metres, with seven locking width positions to suit different loads. The 127mm dropbed design and 820mm minimum lowered deck height help accommodate taller machinery and equipment.
