MTE recently completed this 3 Axle Semi Tipper for Legacy Contracting, paired with their recently refurbished Kenworth T908 tractor unit to create a purpose-built combination for demanding bulk haulage and contracting work.
At the centre of the build is a 22m³ high-tensile steel bin, constructed from 1100MPa steel with a 6mm floor and 5mm sides. A buried six-stage hoist keeps the hydraulic system neatly integrated into the trailer while providing the lifting power required for tipping operations.

Built for Versatile Tipping Work
The trailer incorporates a two-way demolition tailgate, allowing the rear door configuration to suit different unloading applications. A pneumatic tailgate trip, spreader chains and truck-powered hydraulics provide a straightforward setup for day-to-day operation.
A Kiwi Tarp system has also been fitted to provide load coverage, while the black chassis and silver bin complement Legacy Contracting’s recently refurbished Kenworth T908.
The combination was finished off with custom signwriting by The Sign Formula, Hamilton, tying the truck and trailer together for a sharp, professional finished package.
