This project was a little different from a new trailer build, with Hale Equipment returning their 2016 MTE 3 Axle Semi Transporter to our Hamilton workshop for a comprehensive refresh.
Originally manufactured by MTE and delivered to Hale Equipment in 2016, the trailer has returned after years of service for a refurbishment focused on extending its working life and updating it for their current requirements.
The refurbishment included new paintwork, updated electrical equipment and additional storage options, giving the existing trailer a fresh lease on life while retaining the proven MTE platform underneath.

Refreshed for Another Round of Work
The original trailer was already equipped with a versatile range of features, including extensive chain slots and tie-down points, container ship locks, toolboxes, dunnage storage and hydraulic loading ramps.
Rather than replacing a proven piece of equipment, the refurbishment gave Hale Equipment the opportunity to refresh and modernise the trailer, with new paint, electrical upgrades and improved storage options readying it for many more years of service.
Built to Last. Built to Be Rebuilt.
For MTE, supporting a trailer doesn't stop when it leaves the factory. Our refurbishment capabilities allow older MTE equipment to be repaired, upgraded and adapted as operating requirements change, helping customers get the maximum working life from their investment.
This 2016 Hale Equipment transporter is a great example – back through the MTE workshop, refreshed and ready to go back to work.
