MTE recently completed this 3 Rows of 4 Widener for AFT Heavy Haulage, designed as a versatile heavy machinery transport solution capable of adapting to a wide range of oversized equipment and loads.
The hydraulically widening deck expands from 2,500mm closed to 3,600mm open, while MTE hydraulic suspension provides a 920mm ride height and 820mm loading height. Combined with a 40,000kg GVM, the result is a highly capable platform for specialist heavy haulage work.

Designed for Maximum Deck Flexibility
The 3.9m top deck provides valuable additional loading space, with 1.8m pull-out steel ramps allowing machinery to be loaded onto the upper deck. This gives AFT greater flexibility when transporting multiple pieces of equipment or machinery with attachments.
The trailer also incorporates a comprehensive load restraint package with certified tie-bar lashings, chain lugs, ferry hooks and ship-lock pockets for a loaded 20ft container. Four integrated chain bins and two 900mm toolboxes provide dedicated storage for chains and other transport equipment.
Folding oversize signage, reversible hazard panels, LED beacons and rear strobes are incorporated for over-dimensional transport operations.
