4 Axle Semi Flat Top

MTE recently completed this 4 Axle Semi Flat Top for Equipment & Transport Leasing Ltd (ETL Hire), manufactured by our Evans Engineering business in Tokoroa. Built as a versatile general transport trailer capable of handling freight, machinery, equipment and containers.

With an overall length of 15,000mm and a 9,200mm forward distance, the trailer provides a large, open deck suited to a broad range of transport applications – an important consideration for a hire fleet where the next job can require a completely different load.

Container Capability

A key feature of this build is its flexible container carrying configuration.

Integrated container mounting provisions allow the trailer to be configured to carry a single 20ft container, two 20ft containers or one 40ft container, giving ETL Hire considerably more flexibility across different transport requirements.

When the container mounts aren't required, the full flat deck remains available for machinery, equipment and general freight.

A Versatile Transport Platform

At 15 metres overall, the Semi Flat Top provides a substantial amount of usable deck space while retaining a straightforward open-deck configuration.
