MTE completed this 4 Axle Semi Transporter for Dean Earthmoving, purpose-built to provide a versatile platform for transporting heavy earthmoving machinery, equipment and other loads.
And for its first job, the new transporter was put straight to work carrying another MTE trailer – delivering a new 3 Axle Simple Trailer to its customer.
With a 50,000kg GVM, 2.8m-wide deck, rear steering axle and lifting front and rear axles, the transporter has been configured to give Dean Earthmoving plenty of flexibility across a wide range of transport work.

Built for Heavy Machinery Transport
The 10.9m-long and 2.8m-wide bottom deck provides a substantial loading platform for excavators, loaders, rollers and other heavy equipment.
The deck is finished with 18mm H3 treated plywood over steel, continuing down the beavertail, with short cleats incorporated along the outside edges to provide additional traction during loading.
At the rear, 2,700mm × 900mm hydraulic ramps provide access to the main deck, while 5-tonne-rated air-operated ramps allow equipment to be loaded onto the top deck.
Extensive Load Restraint
The trailer has been equipped with an extensive range of certified load restraint points.
These include 13 × 9,000kg certified lashings per side in the bottom deck coaming rails, five per side on the top deck, 32 lashings within the bottom deck and another three positioned towards the front of the top deck.
Ship-lock pockets also allow the transporter to carry either an empty 20ft or 40ft container, adding another useful capability beyond conventional machinery transport.
Practical Storage
Two 1,200mm lockable toolboxes are fitted ahead of the axle group, along with three 900mm open chain bins with chain hangers, providing dedicated storage for chains, twitches and other load restraint equipment.
Finished in a combination of black and Luxe Yellow, the transporter has been matched to Dean Earthmoving's distinctive fleet colours.
