MTE completed this custom 4 Axle Semi Transporter for PTS Logistics, built specifically around their heavy machinery and equipment transport requirements.
While based on MTE’s 4 Axle Semi Transporter platform, this unit differs considerably from our standard specification. The build features a 2.8m-wide deck, 50,000kg GVM, rear steering axle, 3.3m heavy-duty loading ramps, air-operated top deck ramps and a 20,000lb hydraulic winch.

Custom-Built for PTS
The deck incorporates 32 Figure 8 lashings, positioned on both sides of the spine and around the outside of the deck, with another four incorporated into the top deck.
There are also 14 coaming-rail lashings per side, ferry hooks and a rope rail beneath the top deck. Stainless-steel coaming protectors are fitted around the lashing points to help protect the paintwork during regular heavy-haulage use.
PTS specified plenty of onboard storage, with four 1,200mm lockable toolboxes with stainless-steel doors and two 1,200mm chain bins with chain hangers incorporated into the trailer.
The finished transporter is unmistakably PTS, with the deck and chassis finished in custom PTS Orange and the coaming rails, bumper and ramps in PTS White, complemented by custom stainless PTS signs on the rear of the ramps.
