Purpose-Built for the Wirtgen WR240

The key requirement behind this trailer was the transport of Downer's Wirtgen WR240 Asphalt Recycler, with the trailer configured to provide the deck width, capacity and loading arrangement required for the machine.

The 2,800mm-wide bottom deck provides the additional width needed for large road construction machinery.

The deck itself is finished with 18mm H3 treated plywood over steel, with cleats incorporated into the beavertail to provide additional traction during loading.

The EBS air suspension incorporates an automatic raise/lower levelling system, which returns the trailer to its normal ride height once a pre-programmed road speed is reached after loading.

Load Restraint & Storage

Heavy machinery restraint is catered for with 15 certified 9,000kg lashing points per side on the bottom deck and another five per side on the top deck. Stainless-steel covers are fitted above the coaming rail tie points to help protect the trailer during regular loading and chain-down operations.

Storage includes three lockable toolboxes and two 900mm chain bins, providing dedicated space for chains, load restraint equipment and other gear required on the road.
