5 Axle FTLL Straight Deck

MTE completed this 5 Axle Flat Top Low Loader for Downer Group NZ, built with a straight-through deck to provide a practical and versatile platform for transporting construction and earthmoving machinery.

With an 11.45m straight deck, 875mm rear deck height and 34,000kg GVM, the trailer has been designed to provide plenty of usable deck space while keeping overall loaded height down when transporting larger equipment.

Load Restraint

A comprehensive range of load restraint points has been incorporated throughout the trailer.

The coaming rails feature 18 certified lashing tie bars per side, plus two additional lashings on the front corners. A full-length rope rail is integrated into the bottom of the coaming rails, while six dedicated ferry tie-down chain lugs are positioned around the trailer.

A 250mm-high fixed pipe headboard is also fitted at the front of the deck.

Practical Storage

Two chain bins are integrated directly into the front corners of the deck, providing convenient storage for load restraint equipment.

A pair of 900mm lockable toolboxes are also mounted underneath the deck, one on each side, with polished stainless-steel doors.

The trailer is finished with sliding chevrons front and rear, Hella strobe lighting and LED marker lighting, providing additional visibility when operating around worksites and on the road.
