MTE recently completed this 3 Rows of 4 Widener for Monk Earthworks, purpose-built to provide a versatile heavy machinery transport solution for their earthmoving operations.

The trailer features MTE’s hydraulic widening system, allowing the 2,500mm closed deck to widen out to 3,600mm when required. Combined with hydraulic suspension and a low 820mm loading height, the trailer provides the flexibility to handle a wide range of earthmoving and construction machinery.

A key feature of this build is the 3.9-metre-long top deck, providing additional usable space for equipment and attachments. Air-operated pop-up ramps provide access between the main and top decks, allowing machinery to utilise the additional loading area.

The trailer also incorporates an extensive load restraint and storage package, including certified tie-bar lashings, rope rails, chain lugs, ferry hooks, container ship-lock pockets, four chain bins and two 900mm toolboxes.

For over-dimensional loads, sliding front and rear chevrons, folding oversize signs and reversible hazard panels are integrated into the trailer.

Customer: Monk Earthworks
